The shareholders are the primary source for contacting new companies about potential membership into Archway. The captive consultant and broker are responsible for continuing communication with each acceptable prospect.

The attributes required for memberships are:

•  Management commitment to safety
•  Financially strong company
•  Historic loss experience average or better for the industry
•  Management philosophy compatible with Archway group
•  Minimum casualty premium of $200,000

The essence of success for Archway is two-fold: continued participation by each shareholder in governing Archway; aggressive risk control management within their own business.

Each current policyholder in Archway is evaluated every year by the Risk Control Committee for its maintenance of a strong managerial commitment to effective loss control. The group knows each policyholder’s loss records and the best results are recognized and formally rewarded by Archway.
